Emergencies are situations that are dangerous to life, property or the environment.

They may arise from a fire, explosion, accident, or some other incident that occurs without warning.

By their very nature, emergencies are unexpected and catch people by surprise.

But if you've already put procedures in place to cope with the incident, you'll be able to take control of the situation in an organised way.
